Univfy revealed last month that it had secured 6 million dollars in its Series B fundraising round, which would allow Univfy AI/ML services to be made available to more people through reproductive facilities, businesses, benefits programs, and health plans.
Fremont, CA: The global COVID-19 outbreak prompted a boom in technology for disinfection, transmission control, illness detection, treatment, patient care, and vaccination. E-consultations, telemedicine, real-time diagnostics, and access to digital therapies supplied through immersion technology tools are all examples of improvements in the healthcare business.
"This partnership with eIVF will accelerate and automate the generation of Univfy reports at the point of care, making the reports accessible to many more fertility patients," said Mylene Yao, CEO, and Cofounder of Univfy. "Providers have been asking for the Univfy AI/ML products to become a standard part of patient care. Patients and providers value having transparency, personalization, and accuracy regarding their IVF success rates so that they can make the best decisions about their treatment."
Univfy, a top leader in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to personalize counseling and improve access to fertility care, collaborated with PracticeHwy's electronic medical records solution, eIVF, a fertility industry pioneer and an Atlantic Street Capital "ASC" portfolio company. The partnership's mission is to improve reproductive care by making fertility treatments more inexpensive, predictable, and successful while also promoting the expansion of the fertility market.
Univfy's highly scalable AI/ML platform provides verified IVF success prediction models based on data from each fertility facility to facilitate more effective patient counseling. Patients who get the Univfy Report are 2-3 times most likely to follow their doctor's advice, enhancing their chances of delivering a healthy baby. The collaboration with eIVF will enable data transmission between both the Univfy AI Platform and the EMR, allowing for the easy and automatic development of the Univfy PreIVF Report and the Univfy AI/ML-assisted tools suite.
One in every eight reproductive-age couples in the United States, or 7 million couples, and more than 80 million couples across the world struggle to conceive independently. IVF is the most successful therapy for most women and couples, but it gets widely neglected, owing to financial risk and physical and mental stress. The Univfy AI Platform can address fertility patients' medical, emotional, and economic demands.
